David Ussher – Owner/Managing Director

David started Synapco Industries back in 1981, and although now based in Nelson, he is still actively involved in assisting the team with his extensive technical expertise and polymer knowledge.

Dave Pine - General Manager

Dave has been with the company since 2006, with advanced trade certificate in tool making he often assists clients with product/process design, and improvement. Dave manages the quality system, and works directly with customers to ensure their needs are met. Dave is a hands-on individual who is passionate about the business, its employees, and finding the best solution for each customer.

John Bremner – Operations Manager/Sales Support

John joined the Synapco team in 2008 bringing with him 2 decades of experience plastic manufacturing, he is trade certified in Mechanical Engineering, and also has certification for single and three phase electrical. John is heavily involved in our staff training and lean manufacturing programs, and is a key part of our continuous improvement team. With his extensive technical manufacturing knowledge John is easily able to assist clients with product enquiries.

Peter Cropp – Production Manager

Peter has over 20 years manufacturing experience and 13 years in the moulding industry. Beginning with serving a four-year Fitting & Turning Apprenticeship, he then worked setting machine tools. He entered the moulding industry in 1996. Peter recently advanced to Production Manager for Rubber and Plastics at Synapco and has been instrumental in developing process improvement in all moulding operations; he also manages product measurement and inspection required by our ISO 9001 accredited quality program.
