Utilizing similar machines as for Rubber Moulding, our Thermoset Moulding is a key part of our business. Dough Moulding Compound (DMC) is widely used in switchgear manufacture due to its electrical resistance/insulation properties, and high heat capability. Synapco is the largest New Zealand based DMC component supplier to this industry segment.

DMC has the following material properties:

• hardness
• dimensional stability
• compressive strength.
